Restore Archived Server

Overview

When a server is archived via a Disconnect operation, the cloud VM is still running and the pending termination can be cancelled. CloudAIPilot shows a Restore Server button on the archived server's detail page for this purpose.

How to Restore an Archived Server

  1. Navigate to Servers in the dashboard sidebar.
  2. Switch to the Archived filter tab at the top of the server list.
  3. Click on the archived server to open its detail page.
  4. If the server is eligible for restoration, you will see a banner at the top with a Restore Server button. Click it.
  5. CloudAIPilot cancels the pending cloud deletion and returns the server to active management.

When Restoration Is Not Available

If a server was deleted (the cloud VM was terminated), the archived record shows a message stating the VM has been terminated and data is preserved for reference. In this case, the Restore Server button is not shown because the cloud instance no longer exists.
