Public Signup and Account Access Policy
Overview
CloudAIPilot is open for public signup — no invitation is required to create your own account. Once you have an account, the access you have to any organization's resources depends on the role you have been assigned within that organization.
Creating your own account (public signup)
Anyone can sign up at cloudaipilot.com using an email address and password, or via Google or GitHub OAuth. There is no waitlist or invite gate for creating a personal account.
When you sign up, a personal organization is automatically created for you. You are the Owner of that organization and have full access to all its resources.
Joining another organization by invitation
If someone invites you to their organization, you will receive an email with an invitation link. Clicking the link takes you to the accept-invite page where you sign in (or create a new account if you do not already have one) to join.
When you accept an invitation, the inviting organization owner has assigned you a role. The role determines what you can see and do inside that organization.
The four roles
Every member of an organization has one of four roles:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access to everything — billing, team management, all infrastructure, and all settings. Only one Owner per organization (transferable). |
| Admin | Full infrastructure access. Can invite and manage members. Cannot access billing or transfer ownership. |
| Member | Can provision and manage servers, sites, apps, and backups. Cannot manage team members or billing. |
| Viewer | Read-only access. Can view servers, monitoring, and logs. Cannot make any changes or trigger operations. |

How roles interact with AI Pilot
The AI Pilot respects your role in the same way the dashboard does. If your role does not permit an action manually, the AI Pilot will not execute that action on your behalf either. For example, a Viewer cannot ask the AI to provision a server or restart a service — the AI will decline and explain the permission requirement.
Switching between organizations
If you belong to multiple organizations (your own plus any you have been invited to), you can switch between them using the organization switcher at the top-left of the sidebar. Each organization is completely independent — you will only see the resources belonging to the organization you are currently viewing.
