White-Label Branding Setup

Who this is for

Agency account owners who want to replace the CloudAIPilot brand inside client dashboards with their own agency's name, logo, and visual identity.

What you will complete

You will upload a logo and favicon, set a custom brand name, and verify that the branding appears correctly inside a client org dashboard.

How white-label branding works

When white-label branding is enabled on your agency account, clients who belong to your agency will see your brand name and logo in the dashboard topbar instead of the CloudAIPilot identity. This creates a seamless white-label experience where clients interact with your brand without seeing the underlying platform.

Branding is applied at the billing account level — it applies to all client orgs linked to your agency.

Configure agency branding

Step 1 — Open Agency → Settings → Branding in the sidebar.

Step 2 — Set the Brand name. This appears in the topbar where "CloudAIPilot" normally shows (e.g. "Acme Cloud Platform").

Step 3 — Set the Brand subtext (optional). A short tagline shown below the brand name (e.g. "Managed infrastructure for your team").

Step 4 — Upload your Logo.

  • Accepted formats: PNG, SVG, WebP
  • Recommended dimensions: 200×48px or wider at similar aspect ratio
  • Use a version with transparent background for best results on light and dark modes

Step 5 — Upload your Favicon.

  • Accepted format: ICO, PNG, or SVG
  • Recommended: SVG (scales perfectly at all sizes)
  • Displayed in the browser tab of client dashboards

Step 6 — Toggle Apply white-label branding to client dashboards. When this is off, the standard CloudAIPilot branding shows in client dashboards even if you have uploaded a logo.

Step 7 — Click Save branding.

Result checkpoint: Open a client org in a separate browser tab or private window. The topbar should show your brand name and logo instead of CloudAIPilot.

Test your branding

  1. From the Agency dashboard, click any client.
  2. Click Open client dashboard.
  3. The client's dashboard should load with your agency's branding in the topbar.
  4. Toggle dark mode to verify the logo looks good in both themes.

If the logo appears too large or too small, use the Upload button again with a better-sized image.

Remove branding

Toggle Apply white-label branding to client dashboards off and click Save. Client dashboards revert to the standard CloudAIPilot branding immediately.

Uploaded logo and favicon files are retained until you upload replacements or explicitly delete them.

Common errors

Logo does not appear after upload Cause: The image file failed validation (wrong format or too large). Fix: Use PNG or SVG under 2MB. Avoid HEIC or AVIF formats.

Dark mode logo appears on white background Cause: Logo does not have a transparent background. Fix: Re-export your logo as a PNG with transparency or use an SVG.

Branding appears in my own dashboard but not in clients' Cause: The "Apply white-label branding" toggle is off. Fix: Enable the toggle in Agency → Settings → Branding and save.

Brand name is truncated in the topbar Cause: The name is too long for the topbar layout. Fix: Use a shorter brand name (under 20 characters is ideal) or use only the logo without text.
