Architectural Overview
The CloudAIPilot dashboard is engineered to provide an intuitive, business-centric view of your autonomous infrastructure. Rather than navigating complex legacy cloud consoles, your resources are logically organized into discrete operational categories.
The Global Sidebar (Left Navigation)
The sidebar serves as your primary control matrix, divided into distinct functional groups.
Organization Switcher
At the very top of the sidebar is the Organization Switcher. CloudAIPilot is a deeply multi-tenant architecture. This dropdown allows you to instantly pivot between different corporate environments, clients, or billing boundaries, as well as create new organizations.
1. Infrastructure
This is your core operational inventory:
- Dashboard: The high-level pulse of your current organization.
- Servers: Your foundational compute infrastructure. Provision or import cloud instances here.
- Sites & Apps: Standard web applications and static sites.
- Docker Apps: Containerized workloads utilizing Compose or direct Git deployments.
- File Manager: Direct, secure access to your server filesystems.
- Backups: The central vault for your database dumps and system archives.
- Managed Databases: High-availability database clusters.
2. AI Intelligence
- AI Pilot: Your primary chat interface with the autonomous control plane. Initiate complex orchestration tasks or review pending actions here.
- AI Insights: Proactive, machine-learning-driven recommendations for security, performance, and architecture.
3. Monitoring
- Monitoring: Real-time metrics and telemetry aggregated across your entire fleet.
- FinOps: Advanced cost intelligence, waste detection, and forecasting models.
- Alerts: Your centralized incident response center.
4. More (Management & Configuration)
This collapsible section contains foundational settings:
- Cloud Accounts: Connect and secure your AWS, Azure, GCP, or DigitalOcean credentials.
- Cloud Storage: Configure remote S3-compatible buckets for offsite backup vaults.
- Team Members: RBAC governance and user invitations.
- Activity: Real-time visibility into active background operations (provisioning, deployments, backups).
- Settings: Organization-level configurations.
The Global Header (Top Navigation)
The top header provides contextual awareness and quick actions:
- Breadcrumbs: Located on the left, these instantly display your exact location deep within the platform hierarchy.
- Global Search (Magnifying Glass): Instantly locate specific servers, domains, or IP addresses across your organization.
- Theme Toggle: Switch between light, dark, and system themes.
- Notification Center (Bell): Displays system events, alerts, and critical AI Pilot notifications.
- User Profile: Your personal account menu. Access your individual Account Settings, Billing profile, or securely log out.
