Tour of Dashboard Navigation

Overview

The CloudAIPilot dashboard is organized into a left sidebar for navigation and a top header for search, notifications, and your account. This article maps every item so you know where to find things.


Left sidebar

Organization switcher (top of sidebar)

Click your organization name at the very top of the sidebar to switch between organizations, create a new organization, or view your current organization's settings.

Infrastructure section

  • Dashboard — Overview of your organization: active servers, recent activity, and at-a-glance metrics.
  • Servers — Provision new servers or import existing ones. All server management starts here.
  • Sites & Apps — Websites and web applications hosted on your servers (WordPress, PHP, Node.js, static, etc.).
  • Docker Apps — Containerized apps deployed via Docker image or Docker Compose, from a registry or Git repository.
  • File Manager — Browse and manage files directly on your server filesystems.
  • Backups — View, create, and restore backups for your servers and databases.
  • Managed Databases — Provision and manage dedicated database instances (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

AI section

  • AI Pilot — The conversational AI interface. Ask questions, request operations, and review approval cards here.
  • AI Insights — Proactive recommendations and observations generated by the AI about your infrastructure, costs, and performance.

Monitoring section

  • Monitoring — CPU, RAM, disk, and network metrics for all your servers, with live charts and historical data.
  • FinOps — Cost dashboard, anomaly detection, waste findings, forecasts, budgets, and recommendations across all connected cloud accounts.
  • Alerts — Active alert rules and recent alert events. Shows a badge with the count of open alerts.

More section (collapsible)

  • Cloud Accounts — Connect your AWS, GCP, Azure, or DigitalOcean accounts. Credentials are stored here.
  • Cloud Storage — Configure off-site cloud storage destinations (S3-compatible buckets, etc.) for backup vaults.
  • Team Members — Invite team members, assign roles, and manage who has access to your organization.
  • Activity — Real-time log of all background operations (provisioning, deployments, backups, restores). Shows a badge with the count of running tasks.
  • Settings — Organization-level settings: profile, security, notifications, git accounts, and AI agent configuration.
  • Plan & Usage — Your current billing plan, subscription details, and usage metrics.

Top header

  • Global search (magnifying glass icon) — Search for servers, sites, apps, or domains by name across your organization.
  • Theme toggle — Switch between light, dark, and system default themes.
  • Notification bell — In-app notifications: alert events, deployment completions, team invitations, and system messages.
  • User profile menu — Access your personal account settings, or sign out.
